Tracey Simkins

Tracey launched her professional career journey as an auditor, achieving her Chartered Certified Accountant qualification in 2008. After dedicating a decade to external audit with a focus on the not-for-profit sector, she transitioned to a new role as a Business Manager at a multi-academy trust in Birmingham.

Over the past ten years, Tracey has held various positions within the charity sector, including Head of Finance/Chief Finance Officer at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Director of Finance at Rethink Mental Illness, and Chief Finance Officer at Mental Health UK. 

For the last five years, Tracey has been a corporation member at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, chairing the Resource Committee for the past two years.

In 2023, Tracey joined Watmos as Executive Director of Resources, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, corporate governance, risk management, and financial planning.
