Servicing your own Gas Appliances

You are responsible for carrying out gas safety checks on all appliances within your flat and this includes things such as gas boilers, cookers, ovens and hobs. Please refer to  information from the Gas Safe Register https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/ on staying safe if you have gas appliances within your home.  Please read this and ensure that all your gas appliances are serviced annually by  a Gas Safe registered engineer. You can find and check an engineer at https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/ or call 0800 408 5500.

Remember, gas safety checks can save lives.
Don’t put it off or take any chances. Do not attempt to carry out the work yourself.
Make sure you get a qualified and suitable engineer to carry out the work on your gas appliances.
