Memorial Garden Offers a Place to Visit to Remember Loved Ones
We are creating a beautiful memorial garden within Ethelred estate to remember the local residents that we have sadly lost during the pandemic.
The memorial garden will provide residents with a relaxing, quiet and safe space to visit, whenever they want to reflect in natural surroundings and remember their loved ones – family member, friend or neighbour.
We have put a natural tranquility pond and a new bench in the garden to help transform the environment. We’ve also planted Field Maple, Plum Cherry, Hazel, Blackthorn, Crab Apple, Privet, Dogwood, Rowan, Holly and Spindle for you to enjoy, to help increase biodiversity and to create the ideal habitat for wildlife to flourish.
It creates a space where residents can connect to nature and with each other to boost their physical and mental wellbeing.
We would like to thank our residents, volunteers, staff, Lambeth Council, Ethelred TMO and Urban Growth in supporting this garden renovation project.
For you. For better. For all, together.
